Yes, that's correct! We are crazy enough to travel half way around the world. From England to Mongolia in fact. Our adventure begins now, and we need all the help and support we can get. Not only to raise money for the charity but for all the gubbins that we need to actually make it to Mongolia.

Before you continue to look elsewhere on our site, please have a look at our charity page. It has all the information about our chosen charity and what they do for the people in Mongolia. We would appreciate any amount and your time. Please click on the "Just Giving" link to the right to donate.

  • More to come...

17 days to go...

  • Firstly, ahhhh! So much to do and soo little time! We've come across a few bumps along the way, but i think we might just make it to the start line. Stickers have been put on and roof rack and lights are being attached as this blog gets update...
  • More updates to come more frequently soon!

1 month & 27 days to go...

  • We finally have our car! A Toyota Rav4. It is slightly over the litre rule, but the Terios was just too small for our over 6ft tall teammates. We were also not sure if the Terios was a remote control car or not. However we do pay the price for breaking the litre rule and have pledged to raise £2000 to our chosen charity, Mercy Corps.
  • The Rav4 could be perfect it's hard to say. It is a 4x4 or at least pretends to be one. It has a switch to change from 2wd to 4wd but no high or low gears. I think that would be cheating.
We would like to thank Kemp Motors very much for helping us out with this motor! They have kindly donated a new cambelt, servicing and AC top-up for our journey. Now our official 2nd sponsor!
  • Photos of the car will be uploaded soon!
  • Car done, now just Visas and Carnet left. Fingers crossed.

2 months & 16 days to go...

  • We now come to realise how important it is to find the car this month. We have a deadline, May the 31st. This is for our Carnet De Passage, we need this because we are (slightly) breaking the vehicel rules for this year. So we have to find a good 4x4 asap. If you have any ideas, then contact us or if you can suggest a car then click here!

2 months & 17 days to go...

  • Our first sponser! Thank you very much Vzaar! We thank you for hosting our videos for our video blog along the way of our journey.

2 months & 26 days to go...

  • Today was a step forward for Liz, as she is new to driving! She brought her first car. A peugeot 106. So she has 2 months and 26 days for a bit of practice to get used to driving before being forced into a 4x4 for 5 weeks across terrain that I personnaly cannot wait to see.

2 months & 27 days to go...

  • The website is now up, with thanks to Elena Pomares! She made the animation you see above here as well as the characterisations of all the team members. Please visit the team page for info, as it looks like a fox has become a member too now.
  • We are still on the search for a 4x4 and we are all ears for any information or tips that you can give us on what we should take. Have a look at the car page to help us narrow down our choice of car.
